Austrian-Greek Music Summer 2026

The Austrian Embassy in Athens proudly presents the Austrian-Greek Music Summer 2026, a distinguished cultural initiative that celebrates the enduring friendship between Austria and Greece through the universal language of music.

For another year, the festival brings together acclaimed artists from both countries in a rich programme of more than 30 concerts, taking place across Greece—from Paxos to Oinousses and from Xanthi to Santorini. Featuring a wide variety of ensembles, genres and venues, the festival offers audiences the opportunity to experience the diversity and excellence of Austrian musical heritage while fostering artistic dialogue and cultural exchange.

The Austrian Embassy is honoured to support this initiative by bringing together musicians, partners and friends whose collaboration makes these unique musical encounters possible. The festival is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic and the Ministry of Culture of the Hellenic Republic, whose continued support is gratefully acknowledged.

Special appreciation is extended to the outstanding musicians, local event partners, valued sponsors—Desserta-Alpiland, the Austrian Language Diploma ÖSD, TÜV Austria Hellas and InformLykos—as well as the festival's media partners. Recognition is also given to the dedicated cultural team of the Austrian Embassy, led by Deputy Ambassador Philipp Wassermann and Cultural Manager Chara Mamata, whose commitment has been instrumental in bringing this year's programme to life.
