ORA by Ettore Botrini, located at One&Only Aesthesis, continues its dynamic gastronomy programme this September with two distinctive experiences celebrating international culinary talent, exceptional ingredients and fine wine on the Athenian Riviera.

For the next edition of Epicurean Tables at ORA by Ettore Botrini, Chef Paco Méndez joins Chef Ettore Botrini for an exceptional four-hands dining experience on Thursday 3 September. Chef Méndez, the Mexican-born chef behind Michelin-starred COME in Barcelona, brings his contemporary interpretation of Mexican cuisine to Athens, creating a menu that unites bold flavours, exceptional ingredients and refined culinary craftsmanship. Together, the two chefs will explore the dialogue between Mediterranean and Mexican culinary traditions, bringing together their distinct perspectives and techniques in an expressive tasting menu.

Born in Mexico City in 1982, Paco Méndez has built an acclaimed career shaped by some of the most influential names in contemporary gastronomy. Following his training in Mexico, he worked alongside chefs including Koldo Royo and Juan Mari Arzak before completing an internship at elBulli in 2008, where he met Albert and Ferran Adrià. His subsequent work with Albert Adrià’s elBarri group included Tickets, Bodega 1900 and Pakta, before he became Executive Chef of Hoja Santa. In 2022, Méndez opened COME in Barcelona, earning its first Michelin star just six months later, a distinction it has retained ever since. His accolades also include recognition as Best Creative Chef in the World at The Best Chef Awards 2024, reflecting his continued contribution to the evolution of contemporary Mexican gastronomy.

At the heart of Epicurean Tables is a creative exchange between culinary cultures, techniques and philosophies. Through collaborations with acclaimed chefs from around the world, ORA by Ettore Botrini offers guests an evolving gastronomic experience that celebrates creativity, cultural dialogue and the continuing evolution of contemporary cuisine.

On 11 September, the Wine Series at ORA welcomes Château Minuty for an evening inspired by the timeless elegance of Provence. Nestled between land and sea, overlooking the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, Château Minuty has been the home of the Matton-Farnet family for more than 85 years. Its vineyards are exceptionally positioned on the hillsides of Gassin and Ramatuelle, benefiting from the unique terroir and Mediterranean climate of the Saint-Tropez Peninsula.

Renowned for its elegant Côtes de Provence rosés, Château Minuty places Grenache, the “king of rosés”, at the heart of its wines, alongside Tibouren, an emblematic grape variety of the Saint-Tropez Peninsula preserved for its distinctive local character. The estate’s wines reflect a deep connection to Provence, combining family heritage, savoir-faire and a contemporary approach to winemaking.

The experience begins with an exclusive Wine Masterclass led by François Matton, Co-founder of Château Minuty, offering guests an introduction to the estate’s heritage, terroir and signature wines. The evening continues at ORA with a curated pairing dinner, where Chef Ettore Botrini’s refined Mediterranean cuisine meets the fresh and delicate expressions of Château Minuty.
